Soon we'll be launching our online digital repository for selected documents from this project. This collection of source material will form one of the project's outputs.

So, like the bibliography, ideas for what we ought to host online would be very useful. If you have particular items you would like to see please reply to this message. Items could be:

  • important legislation
  • government documents
  • reports and inspections
  • correspondence
  • extracts from newspapers and other media
  • statistics

The system can handle a variety of file types and you can view the sorts of things the online repository can do at http://ludos.leeds.ac.uk/ludos/.

Of course, we are going to have to look carefully at copyright but lets start with ideas and see what we can then upload.

Where would we stand on uploading photographs taken of records at the National Archives?
If you let me know the reference we can sort out an agreement with the National Archives about hosting the material. If it is Crown Copyright then we can probably sort something out.

If there is an interest in posting an 8 section article three colleagues and I have written on the construction of enlisted men's tents during the American Revolution, please let me know

Apologies for the delay, but the site is now live at https://ludos.leeds.ac.uk/R/FVU9Q3I2PC5JPBJ1CQ68I1SA1ALQVF884Q46E3T...

Please let me know if you have ideas, or material that you would like to be uploaded to this repository.
